My wife aged 39 years. She has done her lipid profil tests from a lab at chandigarh. Results are as under:
LIPID PROFILE
Total Cholesterol 212.00 mg/dL 125 - 200
HDL Cholesterol 41.10 mg/dL Male 30 - 70
mg/dL Female 35 - 90
LDL 138.90 mg/dL 74 - 130
VLDL 32.00 mg/dL 10 - 32
Triglycerides 160.00 mg/dL Male 60 - 165
mg/dL Female 40 - 145
Cholesterol/HDL 5.16 % 3 - 5 %
LDL/HDL 3.38 % 1.5 - 3.5
Total Lipids 584.00
Cholostrol of my wife is on higher side. Pls see and advice medicine to reduce cholostrol accordingly.

What is the connection between pradaxa and kidney problems. I keep reading on sites like http://www.pradaxainjury.com/ that is dangerous to take Pradaxa if you had kidney problems, even if you are not currently on a treatment. I don't understat the connection between an anticoagulant drug and kidneys.

Hello, I have a quick question. 48 hours ago I had a sexual encounter with a guy (I am gay). He told me he was negative but after we fooled around, he told me he's positive. I m suffering from bleeding piles,but there is no pain and swelling(only bleeding after taking medicine bleeding stops but its happens again after 2-3 month gap).My Dr suggest me operation.Is operation is only cure.Pls suggest what should I do.

my son 8 yrs old suffers with allergy during seasonal change. This leads to heavy sneezing, coughing, watery and red eyes, some asthamatic symptoms etc.
for coughing, sneezing my homeo doc gives SENEGA & POTHOS FOETIDUS. This is used for at least 2 months in a stretch and atleast two times a year.
I want to know what side effects these medicine may have on such prolonged use??
