This clearly states that Methadone is an anti-addictive drug. That is very wrong! Methadone is extremely addictive and much harder to get off of than any other drug. It permeates every cell of the body because it is a half-life drug which means it stays in the system a very long time. It clings to all of the receptors in the brain and withdrawls can last for months. People on methadone are often referred to as "lifers" because the chances of ever getting off of methadone are less than 5%. Please do not allow people to think methadone isn't addictive!
